Ex-Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee files for S. Carolina primary

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee is returning to South Carolina to officially file his paperwork for the state’s presidential primary.

Huckabee starts Tuesday in Myrtle Beach with a veterans’ meeting. From there, he travels to Columbia, where he’ll file his candidacy papers with the state Republican party.

Huckabee wraps up the day with a stop at Sea Pro Boat Factory in Whitmire and a GOP town hall at the Newberry Opera House.

On Thursday, Huckabee is scheduled to have a breakfast meeting at Lizard’s Thicket in Lexington.
