Strong Weather leaves the Midlands

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — After a couple of really warm days, a powerful cold front moves through the area and fired off some serious storms. A line of storms with a history of producing tornadoes and leaving wind damage in its wake moved through South Carolina Wednesday evening. The tornado watch in the entire viewing area has now been cancelled. Most of the rain has now entered the Pee Dee and the Grand Strand, with the tail end of the system touching Orangeburg, Calhoun, and Clarendon counties.
