Court appearances begin for D.C. rioters
COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– At least 23 people arrested in the riot at the Capitol Wednesday have been released from jail. A D.C. superior court judge released them after they appeared in court to face charges.
The judge ordered them not to return to Washington until their next court appearance on June 10. Four other men became the first to face federal charges.
At least 68 people have been arrested for the riot so far.
