(CNN) — Former South Carolina Democratic Candidate for Senate and South Carolina Democratic Party Chair Jaime Harrison is President-Elect Joe Biden’s pick for the next chairman of the Democratic National Committee.
Harrison will still need to be elected by DNC members.
DNC members will vote during a virtual meeting on January 21st, a day after inauguration day.
