Richland County Coroner identifies victim from shooting at Capital City Cycles

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford is releasing the name of a man who died as a result of a shooting that occurred at Capital City Cycles on Thursday evening. Rutherford says the victim has been identified as 55-year-old Charles E. Lilly, of Beech Island, SC.

“We are working with Richland County Sheriff’s Department to fully investigate this matter”, Coroner Rutherford states.

Richland County deputies say they were called to the motorcycle shop on Two Notch Road at around 4 p.m. Thursday. On the scene, deputies say they found five people shot with one of them, later identified as Lilly, deceased.
