Driver killed after vehicle overturns on Nelson’s Ferry Road in Clarendon

CLARENDON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol says a driver was killed after a collision on Sunday.

Troopers say it happened on Nelson’s Ferry Road near Jack’s Creek Road around 3:30 a.m.

According to investigators, the driver of a 2004 Dodge RAM 1500 truck ran off the left side of the road, went into a ditch and overturned several times.

Authorities say the driver, who wasn’t wearing a seat belt, was ejected and died on scene.

This incident remains under investigation.
