Fairfield deputies: Two arrested in connection with March murder investigation

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office says a juvenile and an adult have both been arrested and charged in connection with a murder investigation. Officials say the 17-year-old was charged with murder, burglary and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, while 20-year-old Talib Akil Willingham has been charged with accessory after the fact of murder.

Both individuals are being charged in connection with the death of 18-year-old Charlie Cason III, who was found dead inside his home in Ridgeway in March.
