Three Gamecocks Make SEC All-Freshman Team

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — South Carolina placed three on the team, including SEC Freshman of the Year Jadeveon Clowney. Eleven of the Southeastern Conference football squads are represented on the 12th annual SEC Coaches‘ All-Freshman Team, it was announced Thursday. SEC Champion LSU led the way with five selections. Tennessee had four selections as did Arkansas, which includes Honorary Captain Garrett Uekman.
