Police: Woman stabbed to death at Berea Walmart

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the stabbing of a bank employee working inside a Greenville County Walmart.

Deputies say witnesses told them the woman fought with a man inside the store on Saturday afternoon. After stabbing the woman, authorities say the man fled the scene.

Officials say the woman worked at a bank inside the Walmart.

Deputies say they have arrested a man who crashed a car nearby, but he has not been charged with the stabbing. The names of the woman stabbed and the man arrested have not been released.

The store was still open for business Saturday.
