Kittredge addressing Charleston law graduates

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — New graduates at the Charleston School of Law are getting a chance to hear from one of the state’s top jurists.

State Supreme Court Justice John Kittredge is speaking on Sunday to the school’s December graduates.

Dean Andy Abrams says Kittredge has supported the school since its founding.

Kittredge is from Greenville and is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and the University of South Carolina School of Law. He served as a judge in South Carolina’s family and circuit courts before being elected to the Supreme Court in 2008.

Abrams says about 35 students are expected to take place in the hooding ceremony.
