Irmo PD investigating after bomb threat leads to restaurant evacuation

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Irmo Police are investigating a bomb threat at a restaurant on Thursday. Authorities responded to the threat at the Belliciano’s Restaurant on Lake Murray Boulevard, evacuating employees and other workers in the Tuscany Shopping Center.

According to investigators with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, no bomb was found.

The incident remains under investigation.
