(WOLO) — Former Dutch Fork High School standout Dustin Johnson is in golf’s sweet 16 at the Accenture Match Play Championship in Marana, AZ. A day after a dramatic come-from-behind win against Jim Furyk in extra holes to get his first career win in this event, the Irmo native hardly broke a sweat to beat Francesco Molinari 7 and 5. Former Clemson standout Kyle Stanley lost to Brandt Snedeker 2 and 1. This is Stanley’s second loss to Snedeker this season. Snedeker won in a playoff at Torrey Pines after Stanley collapsed with a triple bogey on the 18th hole. Three-time Accenture Match Play Championship Tiger Woods missed a six-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole that would have extended his match against Nick Watney. Woods struggled with his putting most of the day.
