USC Women Bounce Bama From SEC Tourney

(WOLO) — USC forced 22 turnovers and held Alabama to 26.4% shooting to cruise to a 57-38 win in the opening round of the SEC women’s basketball tournament in Nashville late Thursday night. The 6th-seeded Gamecocks move on to play #3 seed Georgia late Friday night. Senior guard La’Keisha Sutton led USC with 15 points. Fellow All-SEC 2nd-teamer Markeshia Grant scored 10 points. Ten players total scored for the Gamecocks.
