Man appears to have drowned in Rock Hill pool

ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) — A Rock Hill man has died after being pulled from a swimming pool at an apartment complex.

The Herald of Rock Hill reported that 19-year-old Justin Hines was spotted in the bottom of the pool Saturday afternoon.

Hines was taken to Piedmont Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

York County Coroner Sabrina Gast says an autopsy was performed Sunday, but officials could not yet confirm the cause of death.

A woman at the pool says she saw Hines swim to the bottom of the pool and noticed a couple of minutes later he was still there. Her husband an another man pulled Hines’ body from the water.
