SC Athletic Hall of Fame Announces 2012 Class

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Former Augusta National Golf Club Chairman Hootie Johnson and ex-NFL players Stephen Davis and Duce Staley head up the 2012 class for the South Carolina Athletic Hall of Fame. Others to be inducted on May 14 are Clemson baseball coach Bill Wilhelm, former NASCAR executive and Darlington Raceway president Jim Hunter, former South Carolina baseball coach June Raines, former NBA standout and Clemson forward Dale Davis and AAU basketball star from the 1940s and 1950s, Evelyn “Eckie” Jordan. Wilhelm and Hunter will be honored posthumously.
