W. Columbia man charged with attempted murder

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO) – Lexington County Sheriff‘s Department detectives have charged a West Columbia man with attempted murder after a man was stabbed at a party earlier this month. According to officials, Alexander Eagans got into a scuffle Sept. 13 during a party at a residence in the 400 block of Bushberry Road in Pelion. Eagans allegedly stabbed the victim with a knife and fled the scene on foot. He was arrested Sept. 21 and is being held in the Lexington County Detention Center on $100,000 bond.
