COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Seventh Woods will play his college basketball at North Carolina. On national signing day Wednesday, the blue-chip recruit officially made the announcement at Hammond School. Woods was tabbed as the #1 player in the country in his class early on in his high school career. He has played on several USA national teams and was named the SC Gatorade Player of the Year as a sophomore. Woods chose the Tar Heels over the hometown Gamecocks. He said it was a tough decision, but Roy Williams won out because he had been his most loyal recruiter since his freshman year.
