2 People Charged with Obstruction in Holly Hill Quadruple Homicide

HOLLY HILL, S.C. (WCIV) — Two people were arrested and charged with obstruction in the ongoing quadruple murder case in Holly Hill. According to the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office, 26-year-old Dominique Washington, of Ladson, was arrested and charged on Wednesday. He was denied bond during a hearing. Deputies say the second person was also charged with obstruction, but said details of that person’s identity would not be released due to safety reasons. “We feel this person‘s life would be placed in jeopardy if we were to release their name. We ask the media respect this,” Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said. “That information will be released at a later date yet to be determined in order not to jeopardize another life.” Bond on that second person was denied as well, officials said. Ravenell said both people were arrested on charges that stem from separate interviews conducted recently related to the July 15 shooting deaths of four Holly Hill residents. Two teen girls were killed in the shooting, and an 8-year-old was seriously wounded. “These individuals are being arrested because they stood in our way of solving this case,” Ravenell said. “Anyone else who impedes this investigation will face charges as well.” Photo courtesy of WCIV
