Horry County Police Looking for Missing 17-year-old Girl

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — Horry County Police are looking for a 17-year-old girl who was first reported missing on Friday, Nov. 13. Symaria Shannon was reported missing by her mother when she did not return home as scheduled and she found her daughter’s car abandoned at a nearby business, according to Lt. Raul Denis with Horry County police. She is believed to be in the company of Ryan Graham, 26, who is currently on probation after serving time for having an inappropriate relationship with this same girl two years ago. There is an active arrest warrant for Graham, for violating his probation, which includes a provision that he not be around Symaria Shannon, according to Denis. Denis said she is “unduly influenced” by him and police are concerned about her welfare. Symaria Shannon is 5-feet, 4-inches tall, weighs about 116-pound and has brown eyes and black hair. Graham is 5 -feet, 10 inches tall, 166 pounds and has multiple tattoos on his face and arms, and one that reads “Death before Dishonor” on his neck. The two are believed to be traveling in his car, a silver, 2003 VW Jetta, with SC license plate LTL591.
