13-year-old shot to death in Bluffton

BLUFFTON, S.C. (AP) — Beaufort County sheriff’s deputies are investigating the shooting death of a 13-year-old boy and have arrested another teen.

Sheriff’s deputies say they were called to a mobile home in the Bluffton area around 7 a.m. Sunday where they found the younger teen dead in a bedroom of the home.

The dead teen’s name has not yet been released while relatives are notified.

An older teen has been charged with involuntary manslaughter. He was awaiting a bond hearing Sunday night. It was unclear if he has a lawyer yet.
