Rare Coroner’s Inquest Set in SC Mauling Death

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) _ A relatively rare coroner’s inquest is scheduled in the death of a Mount Pleasant child who was mauled to death by two dogs last spring.

Charleston County Coroner Rae Wooten has determined the dogs caused the death. But the inquest, slated for Aug. 10, will determine if the death of 2-year-old Ja’Marr Tiller was an accident or if someone is responsible.
