The Forest Acres Police Department says a shoplifting suspect led them on a chase through the entire city before police say the female suspect crashed the car she was driving with her four children inside.
The Sumter Police Department says a teenage boy living with autism & is non-verbal has been found safe.
“After visiting with my grandmother and noticing that she needed some help, I brought it to the chief’s attention,” Riley said.
The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office says the teen was found safe.
In an effort to provide resources to young adults and promote healthy relationships, the city will hold an event for teenagers called “Leap of Love” on February 15th from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Brookland Baptist Church.
