Clarendon Co., S.C. (WOLO)– One inmate is dead after an altercation at a prison in Clarendon County according to officials. A spokesperson for the Department of Corrections says Allen Capers died in the incident. No word on what sparked the fight. According to City officials, starting January 2nd the business offices will be open from 8-30 to 5 pm Monday – Friday. COLUMBIA- Police announced the arrest of a 63 year old man accused of shooting his friend. Wilba Grimes was arrested Friday night for assault and battery of a high an aggravated nature. Grimes got in an argument with a friend on Walnut Street, and shot him in the lower body, according to authorities. The victim was rushed to the hospital……
