Major Job Fair: 500 Positions Available

The BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina group of companies is seeking registered nurses, accountants, auditors, accounting clerks and others to fill more than 500 open positions.
Interested individuals are invited to attend an open house from 4 p.m.-8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 15, at a BlueCross facility at 17 Technology Circle, in the Carolina Research Park in Columbia (29203).

High Speed Chase

CAMDEN, S.C. (AP) _ Authorities say a Greenville man is in jail after leading Kershaw County sheriff’s deputies on a high-speed chase.
Sheriff Jim Matthews said 22-year-old Joshua Damien Boyter was being held in the Kershaw County jail Monday for failing to stop for officers.

USC-Clemson Set For 7:45 p.m. On ESPN

The annual Palmetto State showdown between the South Carolina Gamecocks and Clemson Tigers has been set for a 7:45 p.m. kick on Saturday, Nov. 26, it was announced today. ESPN will televise the contest nationally from a sold out Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia.
