NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (AP) _ A hearing for a man charged in the stabbing deaths of his wife and three stepchildren in Newport News has been continued until January 4th.
John Moses Ragin’s status hearing had been set for Wednesday in Newport News Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. The 36-year-old Ragin is being held without bond.

SC panel to examine traffic cameras never met
BEAUFORT, S.C. (AP) — A state commission examining the use of traffic cameras in South Carolina was supposed to have issued its report this week but has not done so because the panel never met.
