Marcquise Reed, a 6-3 guard at Robert Morris University last season, has signed a financial aid agreement to transfer to Clemson. Head Coach Brad Brownell made the announcement Wednesday. Per NCAA rules, Reed is required to sit out the 2015-16 season but has three seasons of eligibility remaining, beginning in 2016-17. He joins Vanderbilt transfer Shelton Mitchell as the newest additions to the roster.
For the second time in the history of the event, Clemson men’s basketball will play at Minnesota in the 2015 Big Ten/ACC Challenge. The Tigers will face the Golden Gophers on Nov. 30, ESPN announced Wednesday. The exact game time and network will be determined at a later date.
The Clemson men’s golf team will being play in the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional at the Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, NC on Thursday. The Tigers are one of 13 schools fighting for five spots in the 30-team NCAA National Tournament in Bradenton, Fla May 29 through June 3.
