Play Suspended on Day 2 of NCAA Championships

For the second day in a row, weather shortened play at the 2015 NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Championship. Today, the No. 2 Gamecocks did not get their round in, with players finishing anywhere from 11 to 13 holes of the second round before play was halted at The Concession Golf Club on Saturday. Currently, South Carolina is tied for 11th at 40-over and is 20-over in its uncompleted second round.

Tigers Fall to UNC, Await NCAA Tournament Fate

J.B. Bukauskas pitched 5.2 strong innings and Skye Bolt hit a three-run homer in the third inning to lift North Carolina to a 6-3 victory over Clemson in the ACC Tournament at Durham Bulls Athletic Park on Friday afternoon. The Tar Heels, who finished 2-2 in the tournament, improved to 34-24 on the season. The Tigers, who went 1-2 in the tourney, fell to 32-27 in 2015.

Statement Win: Clemson Stuns No. 3 Louisville Thursday

Clemson scored five runs in the first two innings and Zack Erwin struck out 11 batters in the Tigers’ 7-2 victory over No. 3 Louisville in the ACC Tournament at Durham Bulls Athletic Park on Thursday. The Tigers, who upped their record to 1-1 in the tournament, improved to 32-26 on the season. The Cardinals, who fell to 1-1 in the tourney, dropped to 43-15 in 2015.

Clemson Names New Volleyball Assistant Coach

Nicole Miller has been named an assistant coach with the Clemson volleyball program, Head Coach Hugh Hernesman announced on Thursday. Miller joins Hugh, who was named the Tigers’ head coach in March, and his wife, Stephanie, who was previously added to the staff as an assistant coach, after spending one year at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Clemson/Louisville Baseball Delayed

First pitch for the NC State vs. Notre Dame game at the ACC Tournament in Durham is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. The game was originally scheduled for 11 a.m., but rain pushed the start time back. Clemson’s game, originally scheduled for 3 p.m., will start approximately 51 minutes after that game ends.

Clemson Drops ACC Tourney Opener To FSU

Boomer Biegalski pitched 6.1 scoreless innings to lead No. 10 Florida State to a 3-1 victory over Clemson in the ACC Tournament at Durham Bulls Athletic Park on Wednesday. The Seminoles, who improved to 1-0 in the tournament, upped its record to 38-19. The Tigers, who fell to 0-1 in the tourney, dropped to 31-26 on the season.
