Falcons Make Beasley #8 Pick

Clemson defensive end Vic Beasley was selected by the Atlanta Falcons with the eighth selection of the first round of the NFL draft held in Chicago on Thursday night. Beasley was the ACC Defensive Player of the Year and a consensus All-American in 2014 when he helped Clemson lead the nation in total defense for just the second time in school history.

Clemson defensive end Vic Beasley will be one of 28 prospects at the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago on Thursday evening as the National Football League begins its annual draft of college players at 8:00 p.m. Beasley is one of many former Tiger football players who could be selected over the three days of the draft.
