Clemson Volleyball Coach Resigns

Jolene Jordan Hoover has announced her resignation as the head coach of the Clemson volleyball program. Hoover led the Tigers to a 452-259 record in 22 seasons. Not only is she the all-time winningest coach in Clemson volleyball history, she is also the all-time winningest coach among head coaches of all women’s sports programs in Clemson history.

Key Spurns Gamecocks, Picks LSU

Monday night, Arden Key decided Gamecock football wasn’t in his future. Again.

Key, a four-star defensive end prospect from Lithonia, GA, chose LSU over USC on Fox Sports South TV. Key is the 9th decommittment from this year’s Carolina football recruiting class, once ranked as high as #2 in the country.

Louisville Revokes Offer To Colburn

Two days before National Signing Day, South Carolina’s Mr. Football is looking for a new school.

Monday, Louisville called Dutch Fork High School running back Matt Colburn and told him there was no longer a scholarship for him for this fall. The Cardinals coaches want Colburn to greyshirt, meaning he wouldn’t enroll at Louisville until January.

USC Hoops Heads To Arkansas

South Carolina travels to Arkansas on Tuesday in the first of two road matchups this week. The Gamecocks and Razorbacks met twice last season, with Arkansas posting a 71-64 victory on its homecourt in mid-February, and Carolina earning a 71-69 win over the Razorbacks in the second round of the 2014 SEC Tournament. Tuesday’s game will be broadcast on the SEC Network with Dave Neal (pxp) and Will Perdue (analyst) on the call.
