Swinney Likes Way He’s Handled Watson

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney still believes he made the correct decision coming out of fall camp: Deshaun Watson was the team’s backup quarterback.

That hasn’t stop people asking if the freshman might’ve prevented the team’s rough start had he opened behind center from game one.

“I don’t sit around and play hypotheticals or ‘What ifs’ or whatever,” Swinney said Tuesday. “I’m just worried about that windshield and what’s in front.”
