Tigers Go For 11th Straight Against Furman

Clemson (26-11), ranked as high as #12 in the nation, will host Furman (19-16) on Wednesday at Doug Kingsmore Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 PM. Saiko Helps USC Cruise By Charleston 10-6

No. 14 South Carolina pounded out 14 hits including home runs from Connor Bright, Joey Pankake and Graham Saiko as the Gamecocks defeated College of Charleston 10-6 on Tuesday night in non-conference action at Carolina Stadium. The Gamecocks improve to 28-10 on the season while the loss drops the Cougars to 20-16.

Spurrier & Swinney To Tee Off At Coaches’ Event

A 15-team field of NCAA head coaches and celebrity alumni are set to compete in the seventh annual Chick-fil-A Bowl Challenge charity golf tournament. Top national coaches such as Frank Beamer, Urban Meyer, Nick Saban, Steve Spurrier and many others will hit the links, all vying for their share of the $520,000 scholarship purse for their respective universities.

Gamecocks Host College Of Charleston Today

South Carolina (27-10) returns home on Tuesday, April 16 hosting College of Charleston (20-15). Webb Still Out, Holmes To Bullpen This Weekend

Gamecock closer Tyler Webb will miss his second straight SEC weekend series because of tenderness in his pitching elbow. On local radio Monday, Carolina coach Chad Holbrook said he will go with senior Colby Holmes in the closer role in this weekend’s home series against Kentucky.
