South Carolina has fired men’s basketball coach Darrin Horn. Horn spent four years as Gamecocks head basketball coach and finished this past season with a 10-21 overall mark and a dismal 2-12 SEC record.

The Benedict Tigers saw its season come to an end Saturday night after a loss in the opening round of the NCAA Division II Tournament. The Tigers were the 8 seed in the south region and lost to the 1 seed Alabama-Huntsville 69-61 at the UAH campus.
