Clemson’s Watkins ACC Rookie of the Year
Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins has been named the ACC Rookie of the Year by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association. Watkins had 43 of the 45 votes in becoming Clemson’s first ACC Rookie of the Year since James Davis in 2005.
Clemson Tries to Add Tombstone vs. Hokies

Alshon Jeffery Has Operation On Hand
Junior wide receiver Alshon Jeffery had an operation on his hand Monday to repair a broken bone. He will begin rehab next week and will be re-evaluated in the next couple of weeks. Jeffery returned to the contest after the injury and caught a touchdown pass in the final quarter.
Clemson Leads All-ACC Selections
Five Clemson players were named first-team All-ACC, including four on the offensive side of the ball according to the all-conference team released by the Atlantic Coast Conference on Monday. Clemson had five first-team players, more than any other school, and nine selections over the two teams, also more than any other school.

University of South Carolina sophomore quarterback Connor Shaw has been named co-SEC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance Saturday night against Clemson, it was announced today.
Gamecocks Stay Steady In BCS, Polls
USC football stayed steady in the latest BCS standings and top 25 polls after finishing the regular season with a 34-13 win over Clemson. The Gamecocks are #12 in the BCS, #13 in the Associated Press Top 25 and #14 in the Coaches/USA Today Top 25. Clemson dropped from #17 to #20 in the BCS.
Panthers Keep Colts Winless, 27-19
The Carolina Panthers finally found somewhere they could pull out a victory on the road: Indianapolis, home of the winless Colts. DeAngelo Williams ran for two touchdowns and Cam Newton added another, leading the Panthers to a 27-19 win Sunday, their first outside of Charlotte in nearly two years.
