Former Gamecock A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces today was named the WNBA’s Western Conference Player of the Week for games played July 2-8.
The Las Vegas Aces (1-6) cut a 18-point second-half deficit to four, Friday afternoon, but they couldn’t quite get over the hump, as they dropped an 87-83 decision to the Atlanta Dream (4-3).
A’ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces are back on the road for a 3 pm PT tip at Chicago, Sunday, with their collective sights set on the team’s first winning streak since relocating to the Entertainment Capital of the World.
The Las Vegas Aces got a 26-point, 12-rebound double-double from rookie of the year candidate A’ja Wilson en route to an 85-73 victory over the Washington Mystics.
Former Gamecock A’ja Wilson came up two rebounds short of posting her second straight double-double with the Aces.
A’ja Wilson and Las Vegas continue a season-opening road trip, Tuesday, traveling to our nation’s capital to take on the Washington Mystics. Tip at Capital One Arena is slated for 4 pm PT.
NBA TV announced today that it will broadcast the Las Vegas Aces’ inaugural home opener, Sunday, May 27, against the Seattle Storm. Tip time has been moved to 5:30 pm PT to accommodate the broadcast.
