New details have emerged in the I-126 chase that left a man dead after he drove into traffic on Friday afternoon, says RCSD.

$1.7 billion, five-part, 8-year SC road project set to begin
South Carolina road crews are getting ready for the first of a five-part, $1.7 billion project to untangle where Interstates 20, 26 and 126 meet west of downtown Columbia. The project is being called Carolina Crossroads and is scheduled to last through 2029.
No one hurt after U-Haul trailer hanging over side of bridge closes two lanes on I-126
Two lanes of the bridge on I-126 were closed Thursday after a U-Haul trailer went over the curb, hanging on the side of the bridge. It happened around 3 p.m. on the bridge just before Greystone Boulevard.
