Richland County deputies say one person has been arrested after a school’s SRO noticed a suspicious vehicle near a play area on the school campus.
Richland County Sheriff’s deputies along with the Department of Natural Resources worked to recover a body from Windsor Lake, said the sheriff’s department.
Richland County Sheriff’s Leon Lott says two people have been arrested in relation to the death of a two-month-old child.
A Richland County high school teacher has been arrested after a gun was found inside his bag while on campus, said deputies.
A 16-year-old has been arrested in connection with the death of a 15-year-old, said the sheriff’s department.
A man has been charged with murder after a victim died weeks later after an assault, said deputies.
“He slides the gun back with his finger on the trigger, and of course when the slide goes back, the gun shoots, hits the 15 year old and kills him. That 15-year-old’s life is gone for absolutely no reason,” says Lott.
Richland County deputies are working a shooting, according to the sheriff’s department.
According to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, a 14-year-old has been charged with involuntary manslaughter.
RCSD says deputies responded to Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center after two inmates overdosed on Tuesday evening.
