“We’ve already seen over half a million voters cast their ballots before Election Day,” says Catalano.
“His position has changed on choice. He said he voted against the Heartbeat Bill. If it truly has changed, he needs to come into these neighborhoods where he lost dramatically yesterday and explain with sincerity on that position. He also indicated he voted against the conference committee on guns, he needs to explain why. He’s got to come in and sell his position as a Democrat to Democrats,” Harpootlian says.
“Ninety-five percent of the issues that happen on Election Day — they could be solved ahead of time if voters would make sure that voters are registered to vote and are registered to vote at the right address,” Catalano says.
According to the South Carolina Election Commission, as of November 2nd, more than 431,000 South Carolinians have voted early.
Early voting is underway and Election Day is less than two weeks away. Preparations for election centers continue as South Carolina moves towards the big day.
