2 teens killed in SC wreck that injured 4 others

ANDERSON, S.C. (AP) — Two teenagers were killed in a wreck in Anderson County that also injured four others.

Coroner Greg Shore says the teens were passengers in a car that collided with a gas tanker truck Tuesday afternoon at U.S. 29 South in Anderson County. He says five of the people were related and appeared to be taking the sixth person, who was killed, home.

Two of the injured were taken to the hospital in critical condition, while two others were in fair condition Tuesday evening.

Shore says the tractor-trailer driver wasn’t injured. He says it appears that the driver of the car pulled out in front of the tractor-trailer.
