Coroner: Alcohol a Factor in Fatal Crash

Columbia, SC (WOLO)– The Richland County Coroner says alcohol was a factor in an accident that killed four people January 18th. Coroner Gary Watts says the driver and all three passengers had blood alcohol levels well over the legal limit. Watts says toxicology results also found recent marijuana use in all four victims. The victims died when the car they were in slammed into the Farm Bureau Insurance building on George Rogers boulevard at 90 miles an hour.
