Clemson Looks For 1st Win Over USC Since 2008

CLEMSON, S.C. (WOLO) –Saturday, Clemson looks to end South Carolina’s three-game win streak against them on their home turf. Tigers fans hope to get their first win over their arch-rival in Death Valley since 2008, when Clemson defeated USC 31-14 in Death Valley. Since 1981, the team with the better overall record has a 19-7-1 record in this matchup. Clemson is 10-1, while the Gamecocks are 9-2 when they meet up in Death Valley. Saturday’s game will be the biggest game in the history of the rivalry, as the Gamecocks and Tigers combine for 19 total wins so far this season – more than any other previous meetings between the teams. Kickoff is set for just after 7pm Saturday. The game will air on ESPN.
