North Carolina Flooding

(WOLO) CHARLOTTE, N.C, — Parts of Western North Carolina is still under a State of Emergency after heavy weekend downpours covered streets, filled cars and flooded streets. Several residents had to be pulled from some of those cars and homes after water started to rise to high for them to make it out on their own. Officials in North Carolina say they are still trying to determine the exact amount of damage that’s been caused by the inclement weather and may not know until the water recedes. Some roadways could be shut down for as long as 3 months while crews work to restore some the areas hardest hit. (source: CNN)
