DHEC to Hold Tdap Vaccine Clinic for 7th graders
COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Parents of seventh graders need to make sure their
student has received the TDap vaccine.
The S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) is holding a Tdap clinic on Tuesday, October 1 at the Richland County Health Department.
It will be for seventh-grade students who have not yet had the required vaccination.
Starting in August 2013, ALL seventh graders will be REQUIRED
to get the Tdap vaccine to protect them against whooping cough
(pertussis).
Students who haven’t had a Tdap vaccination may not be allowed to attend school.
