Home Works doing planning for ‘Christmas Break’

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Some young people are spending part of their winter break doing service for others.

Youth and adults interested in being involved with Home Works are scheduled to get together on Thursday at Eastminster Presbyterian Church for a planning session for “Christmas Break.”

The multi-day blitz by Home Works of America is set for Dec. 27 through Dec. 30, when people will be doing home repairs for the elderly and disadvantaged. No skill level is required.
