Late-Night Shooting Injures 17-Year-Old

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Deputies are trying to figure out what led to a shooting in Richland County Monday night. It happened around 11:30pm on Blair Road, near Aster Street. The sheriff’s department says a man fired several rounds of ammunition into a car. Deputies have not offered a description of the suspect at this time. They say a 17-year-old inside the car was hit in the upper body. The young man was taken to Palmetto Health Richland. His condition is unknown. Deputies add two women were inside the car too, but they were not harmed in the incident. They say they’re still searching for the suspect at this time.
