Black alumni discuss USC desegregation
COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Black alumni of the University of South Carolina are scheduled to meet for the 50th anniversary of the school’s desegregation.
The university’s commemoration of the year-long anniversary celebration continues Tuesday with a panel discussion about the experiences of black students on the campus.
The event is scheduled for 6 p.m. in the Russell House Ballroom. It is free and open to the public.
The panel features alumni from 1971 until 2003.
