BREAKING NEWS : Manhunt underway for murder suspects in Newberry

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)–A manhunt continues in Newberry county. Deputies are searching for four people believed to be murder suspects, wanted in Tennessee. The four are on the run near SC 34 and US 176. Deputies have sent out an alert asking residents to stay inside. Deputies report they are looking for three white males and one white female. The three white males are dressed in dark pants, one is without a shirt. The female is wearing dark pants and a white tee. A State Trooper came across the four at a rest stop near 1-26 and a chase followed. The trooper spiked the tires of the car and the suspects jumped out say deputies. UPDATE 11:00am Officers are centering around a 5 square mile area looking for the suspects. At least two of the suspects are believed to be in their teens. Deputies are asking residents to stay indoors and be alert. The suspects are believed to be armed and dangerous. We have crews on the scene and will continue to bring you updates.
