Missing Teens Found in San Diego-Set to return Wednesday

NEWBERRY, S.C. (WOLO) — The Newberry County Sheriff’s Office said 15-year-old Jonathan Dennis and 16-year-old Alysia Skipper have been found safe and unharmed. They are expected to be returned Wednesday. The pair were located Tuesday at approximately 6:30 p.m. in San Diego, California. Both families have been notified. It is unclear how the teens ended up in California. Authorities said the two voluntarily left their homes on April 30, in Dennis’ dad’s white hummer. At one point, the teens were thought to have been traveling to Colorado where at least one of them has family.
