City Water: What you need to know: Distribution Sites

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The City of Columbia continues with rescue and search efforts, as well as clean up and assessment, including water supply. Due to the flooding a Boil Water Advisory has been issued for the City of Columbia. Certain areas of Columbia are also without water. Water Distribution Sites are set up in the following locations: 8am-6:30pm Tuesday Columbia Metro Convention Center 1101 Lincoln St Walmart 5425 Forest Drive Richland County 8am-6:30pm Tuesday Lower Richland High School Landmark Drive Additional sites will be opened over the course of next day. Residents should Boil their water for at least one minute before cooking or drinking. Officials say it is OK to bathe in the water.
