City of Columbia putting on free financial workshop

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — The City of Columbia is offering people a chance to get free help on managing their money.

On Saturday, the city’s Community Development department is putting on a free financial workshop. Organizers say that participants will learn about topics including banking, budgeting, saving and building credit.
