Orangeburg Co. Deputies Search for Persons of Interest in Shooting

ORANGEBURG, SC (WOLO) — Investigators with the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office are looking to question two persons of interest after shots were fired into a convenience store over the weekend.

Authorities say no one was injured as up to three shots were fired into the Chestnut Street Bojangles around 3 a.m. Saturday, April 23.

The bullets struck the front glass of the store, causing an estimated $2,000 in damages, officials say.

Authorities say video surveillance shows one the suspects getting out of a silver 2004-2007 Honda Accord parked at the gas pumps.

That suspect allegedly then fires multiple rounds into the store.
