Veterans Day Parade in City of Columbia Friday
COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The 38th annual Veterans Day parade in the City of Columbia’s is Friday.
It’s known as one of the largest Veterans Day Parades in the Southeast.
The parade starts at 11 a.m. from the intersection of Sumter and Laurel streets, and travel southbound on Sumter Street ending at Pendleton Street near the State House.
This year’s grand marshal will be Ft. Jackson in honor of its 100 years of service as a United States Army installation, say City officials.
